Ichihara History Museum's "Ichihara Local History Lecture" where you can learn about museums and the city's history, etc. from a variety of themes.
In the third lecture of FY2024, the museum director will talk about the various forms and activities of museums in Chiba Prefecture under the title of "Various Forms and Activities of Museums," covering such topics as the recollection method （ used in various museums to activate brain functions by evoking distant memories through seeing and touching nostalgic folk tools and photographs, efforts to pass on memories of disasters, and corporate museums. The talk will cover such topics as efforts to pass on memories of disasters, corporate museums, and more, touching on examples of museums in Chiba Prefecture.
