The period from September 21 to September 30 is the National Autumn Traffic Safety Campaign.
The slogan is "Reflective materials: Light up, notice, prevent accidents.
The campaign focuses on
? Preventing traffic accidents involving pedestrians by promoting the wearing of reflective materials and practicing safe crossing
? Encouraging safe driving by turning on lights early after dusk and promoting the use of high beams, etc.
? Reinforcement of efforts to eliminate drunk driving by promoting a system to declare the elimination of drunk driving, etc.
? Bicycles ・ Ensure that helmets are worn and traffic rules are observed when using specified small motorized bicycles
These are the four points.
In line with its campaign focus, the Ichihara Police Department also conducts traffic violations （ such as pedestrian protection-specific traffic violations ） such as crossing pedestrian obstruction, speeding, and no passing, and drunken driving enforcement.
We ask for your cooperation in realizing a "safe and secure city of Ichihara" by ensuring that each and every citizen observes traffic rules, practices proper traffic manners, and prevents traffic accidents.
In addition, on September 28 （ Saturday ）, "Autumn Traffic Safety Campaign" and "Declaration of Safety and Security by Ichihara Mayor and Ichihara Police Chief" will be held at Ario Ichihara Store.
There will be a concert by the brass band of Yawata Prefectural High School, children can try on uniforms, police cars and motorcycles will be on display, and various experience corners will be set up.
