Introducing the former Heizo Elementary School, the venue for the Centennial Art Festival - Uchiboso Art Fest.
The Heizo district is located on the Otaki Highway along the Heizo River, a tributary of the Yoro River. Underneath the schoolyard of the venue, the former Hirazan Elementary School, runs a hand-carved waterway called Kawamawashi, where you can see the dedication of our predecessors to the development of the community.
The former Heisan Elementary School is maintained and managed by the members of "Gathering Plaza Heisan. The members of the "Gathering Plaza Hey-san" have been maintaining the former Heisan Elementary School, which has a history of more than 140 years, with all their hearts ・ so that it will always be a place where people can gather and enjoy themselves, and they also organize various activities such as river fishing and river play experiences for local children and a monthly marché "Satoyama Market" on the first Saturday of every month, The park also organizes various activities.

As a venue for Uchiboso Art Fest, seven works by five artists are on display.
