The period from December 10, 2011 to January 3, 2025 has been designated as the Year-end and New Year special vigilance control period, and we are working to prevent damage from various crimes by strengthening patrols and conducting sobriety checkpoints, etc. In Ichihara City, a company's warehouse was recently broken into and expensive tools were stolen. During the year-end and New Year holidays, companies are closed for long periods of time, and people often leave their homes to go home or on vacation, so there is a tendency for damage from warehouse robberies and burglaries to increase. In order to avoid becoming a victim, the following measures should be taken.
○ Lock your doorways and windows tightly.
（ About 30% of break-ins are committed through unsecured areas. ）
○ Install security films, alarms and auxiliary locks on windows.
○ Install security cameras and sensor lights.
○ Don't leave scaffolding or stepladders around your house or on your property.
○ Prune garden trees to improve visibility, put down security gravel, etc.
Taking these measures will also help prevent break-ins. Also, if you see a suspicious person wandering around the area, please report it to the Ichihara Police Station.
