Amida Nyorai Kakebotsu （ Kakebotsuke ） in the collection of Tsurumine Hachimangu Shrine will be on special exhibition from May 1st (Wed.) ！.

Amida Nyorai Suspended Buddha from Tsurumine Hachimangu Shrine" has been designated as a city-designated cultural property. You can see this suspended Buddha specially in the exhibition room of the Ichihara Museum of History from May 1(水) to May 31(金).
In addition, during the major holidays on May 4 (Sat.) and 5 (Sun.), there will be a special interpretation session by the curator and a special experience "Let's make a prayer strap with plastic band ！" using the suspended Buddha as a motif.
In addition, on both days, there will be a variety of hands-on programs that are not usually offered ！ Please visit the Ichihara History Museum during the holidays.

-What is Kakebutsu?
Kakebutsu are objects of worship hung on the walls of shrines and temples. This kakebutsu is inscribed with the dates Kanji 3 （ 1277 ） and is the oldest kakebutsu found so far in Chiba Prefecture. It is also inscribed with the maker's name, making it a valuable object.
