The Ichihara History Museum's "Ichihara Local History Lecture Series" allows visitors to learn about the museum and the city's history and other topics from a variety of themes.
For the 8th lecture in FY2024, participants will learn about shell middens from the Jomon period in Ichihara. The lecture will cover the nationally prominent Nishihiro Shell Mound and Gionbara Shell Mound, the Maboroshi Shell Mound (Monzen Shell Mound), and the Yamakura Tenno ・ Doya Shell Mound, which is comparable in size to the Kasori Shell Mound. There is no cost and no advance registration is required. Please join us.
