ATM refunds are fraud ！ ！

The Kimitsu Police Department would like to inform you of a [Telephone Deception] Alert.

Today, a suspicious phone call has been received in the Osaka area of Kimitsu City, claiming to be from a city hall employee.
The caller states,
I sent you a sealed letter last December, but I have not received a response, so I called you.
I have a refund and I need you to process it.
This is what they said.
In addition to these calls, beware of calls asking for personal information or requesting money or e-money.

As a security measure,
set up an answering machine even when you are home
use a number notification service
lock your door even when you are home
and so on.

If you receive a suspicious phone call or are visited by a stranger, please call 110 or the Kimitsu Police Station.
