Beware of Restoration Problems in Rental Housing

The City Consumer Affairs Center has received many consultations regarding problems in restoring rental housing to its original condition.

When moving out of a rental house, there are many cases where people have reported that their security deposits were not refunded due to the need for house cleaning, replacement of cloths, or other restoration costs, or that they were charged an amount exceeding their security deposits. It is the time of year when more people are going to move due to job transfers, graduation, or employment.
If you are in trouble, please consult with the Consumer Affairs Center or other relevant agencies as soon as possible.
