Let's Speak English! (Eugene English Conversation Club) Schedule for next January

Hello, Everyone!

This is Eugene, the organizer of the English Conversation Club at the Kanada Community Exchange Center ！
I am letting everyone know about the upcoming January 2024 club. Anyone, anytime, any nationality is welcome to join. I am volunteering to run this club. Right now we have about 15 people from the community participating. Japan is entering an era of welcoming more and more people from all over the world. More and more people from Japan will venture out into the world. Against this backdrop, we started this club last December with the hope of creating a unique international community. Through this club, I would like to be of service to the community.

[Schedule for January 2024]
- January 9 （ Tuesday ） 12 noon to 1 noon ： Beginners Club
- January 13 （ Saturday ） 10 am ～ 11 am ： Beginners Club, 11 am ～ 12 pm ： Intermediate Club
- Jan 23 （ Tuesday ） 12 noon to 1 pm ： Beginners' Club

[This month in December]
- Dec 19 （ Tuesday 12:00 noon to 1:00 noon ： Beginners' Club
- December 23 （ Saturday ） 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm （ For this one, we will charge a small participation fee (1000yen or 500 yen). This is an English conversation event "Bridge International Café" Native Speakers will lead the event. ）

What is Yuji's ECC

[When ？] ① Tuesday Club ： Beginners only. Twice a month. 12 noon to 1 pm.
② Saturday Club ： One hour each of beginner and intermediate. 1 ～ Twice a month. Basically somewhere in the morning.

[Where ？] Kisarazu Kanada Community Exchange Center （ Address ： 6-11-1 Kanada Higashi ）

[For whom ？] Anyone over 15 who wants to speak English ！ Any nationality is welcome!

[What we do ？ ] ① Beginners ： Simple conversation practice and grammar （ Support in Japanese ）
② Intermediate ： Free conversation about familiar Free conversation on topics （ English only ）

[Participation fee is ？ ] Free of Charge! (Free ！ )

[Purpose] We are now in a global era. Looking at the world, many people are migrating across countries and information is connecting people around the world through technology. Here in Japan, we are now entering an era of rapid population decline and the need to welcome people from abroad. The purpose of this club is to contribute to the lives of everyone in Kisarazu and Sodegaura City through the creation of an international community using English, the universal language of the world.

[Introduction] Eugene has lived in Canada, a country of immigrants, with his family for 7-8 years. His three children （ 20, 19,&17 years old ） grew up in Canada and English is their first language. His two older children live in Canada for college, and his 17-year-old daughter is in Grade 12 at an international school in Chiba, Japan. Eugene graduated from the University of Lethbridge （ General Studies ） in Lethbridge, Alberta and Tyndale Graduate School （ of Hebrew ） in Toronto, Ontario. He lives in Chiharadai, Ichihara City with his beautiful wife and unique second daughter. Several people in Chiharadai have joined Eugene's club.
